Las opiniones han sido muchas en torno al tema que recientemente presentara la orquesta NG la Banda con relación a la pandemia que hoy azota al mundo.
Con respecto a la obra de “La que manda”, slogan de la orquesta, los criterios han sido muchos y diversos. La mayoría de ellos redundan en que se trata de un tema musical desatinado, irrespetuoso, incoherente con la humanidad y solidaridad que necesita el planeta en estos días.
Evita el Coronavirus, nombre de la pieza disponible en Youtube, usa el choteo como gancho, pretendiendo que mediante la timba y un estribillo pegajoso las personas harán conciencia sobre la pandemia.
¿Y la harán?
En cuanto la televisión cubana transmitió, en calidad de estreno el mencionado tema (y con pistas de encargo de “un día para otro”), decenas de internautas comenzaron a comentar.
Básicamente todas las personas denunciaban lo inoportuno de la canción que en su letra menciona al conocido personaje del argot cubano: “médico chino”.
La mayoría alegaba además que no les parecía sensato dictar medidas y convocar a quedarse en casa mediante una canción bailable.
En tanto, algunos pocos defendieron la poca profundidad del género salsa y agradecieron un poco de alegría en tiempos tan convulsos como los del coronavirus.
El resumen es que un género musical tan aplaudido y bailado en la isla (y fuera de ella también), esta vez produjo efecto boomerang. Y que, al paracer… el Tosco echó limón, pero justo donde duele.
